Kowa s latest addition to their flagship fluorite line the TSN-99 utilizes Kowa s PROMINAR Fluorite crystal lenses in combination with an XD lens to essentially eliminate any chromatic aberration and to redefine the standards of color brilliance. The TSN-99 housing is waterproof to JIS Protection Class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging. The entire body prism box and barrel are constructed with magnesium alloy via a sophisticated process called thixotropic molding to give the strength and feel from a traditional metal body but with much lighter weight. The rugged structure can tolerate the severest of conditions while delivering the highest level of confidence and security. The TSN-99 employs Kowa s dual focus system to ensure smooth movement at high magnifications for pinpoint accuracy in image display. The scope features a retractable sun shade tripod mounting for both 1/4 and 3/8 in. tripod mounts and has a bayonet locking mechanism for the eyepiece to prevent it from falling out. The TSN-99 spotting scope is paired with the TE-11WZ II Wide Angle Zoom Eyepiece. This combination provides a zoom magnification of 30-70x with an abundance of brightness and clarity through the range. The TSN-99 is also compatible with the TSN-EX16 TSN-PA7 TE-20H and other accessories from the 77/88 line of Kowa scopes.
