Its light weight and low profile makes the TSR1 a good choice for a back up sight to a magnified optic and can even be mounted on select pistols by removing the picatinny rail mount and replacing it with an adapter plate (sold separately). In addition the TSR1 has an automatic shutoff at 5 minutes and is motion activated making it always at the ready.
