The barrel and bushing are also machined from stainless steel to provide excellent accuracy. Positive barrel lock-up allows ensures superior accuracy out of the box. The frame and slide have a low-glare bead-blasted finish, and serrations on the slide ensure positive grip while cycling the action by hand. Lightweight, aluminum skeletonized trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop enhances accuracy. The light, crisp trigger pull has no creep, with a quick, positive reset. A lightweight skeletonized hammer provides instant lock time, and ample serrated surface for positive thumb engagement. Other performance-enhancing details include oversized beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety and slide stop lever, polished titanium feed ramp, oversized ejection port, extended magazine release, replaceable grip panels, and checkered backstrap.
