Description
Ruger redesigned the platform of their famous .22 pistol to make the Mark IV Competition Semi-Auto Rimfire Pistol with a simple rear-mounted takedown button and a frame-mounted pivot pin that eliminate the complexities of field stripping previous models. The Mark IV pistol disassembles and reassembles easily, allowing proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. A satin-finished, stainless steel, slab-sided bull barrel balances the pistol superbly in the shooter’s hand and combines with the cold hammer-forged construction with ultra-precise rifling to max out accuracy potential and longevity. Checkered wood laminate grips with thumb rest on the stainless steel grip frame promote accurate pointing and a secure grip. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights ensure quick target acquisition. Receiver comes drilled and tapped for attaching a Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail. Internal cylindrical bolt ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears promote durability and reliable operation. Ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only using included washer. A magazine disconnect prevents the pistol from firing once the magazine is removed. Magazine drops free using a convenient push-button release for efficient reloading. Ruger Mark IV Target semi-auto rimfire pistol with bull barrel and wood laminate grips includes two 10-round magazines.Manufacturer model #: 40112.
