New from Monstrum the MAR-01 One Piece Scope Mount for Marlin 336/1894/1895 Series Rifles is a dedicated scope mounting platform built specifically for Marlin lever action rifle platforms. Precision machined from 6061 grade aluminum it is the most rigid lightweight and easy to install mounting solution on the market. The scope mount base installs directly to the Marlin factory mounting holes via the included set screws. No additional mounting hardware is required. The low profile rings provide 0.55 inches of spacing measured from the base of the mount to the bottom of the scope tube. Note that the low profile design may not accommodate scopes with large objective bells and that installation may require removal of your rear sight. The rings are 1 inch in diameter for precision mounting of standard 1 inch tube rifle scopes. The rings are spaced 3 inches apart.
