In the summer fall transition period and pre-rut does are very receptive to being called in with bleats and if you can get them in range a buck could be following. With the inhale exhale Akern Grunter you can challenge a rutty buck with grunts or call in a doe with soft bleat; heck you might as well shoot a doe too.
