Black Eagle wanted the Spartan&’;s outside diameter to remain smaller for maximum accuracy and penetration in the field. At the same time, Black Eagle wanted the 100% carbon Spartan arrow to be able to utilize an insert for easier arrow removal and additional reinforcement to the front of the arrow for bone-shattering impacts.
