Extra-Large 100mm Objective Lens The PF-100ED’s objective lens features an extra-large effective aperture of 100mm to produce a super-bright image field for effortless subject spotting and high-precision focusing. High-Resolution ED Elements The objective lens incorporates ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements to deliver a sharp high-resolution image with minimal chromatic aberrations. Straight-Line Barrel The maneuverable straight-line barrel makes it fast and easy to spot and follow the subject from a distance. Lightweight Magnesium-Alloy Body The PF-100ED is made of heavy-duty magnesium alloy to reduce weight and protect inner mechanisms while its protective rubber housing further enhances shock resistance and durability. Waterproof Construction The PF-100ED incorporates a dust-shielding glass element in its eyepiece receptacle to assure JIS Class 6 waterproof construction so it can be used in the rain with no worries. Nitrogen-Filled Body The PF-100ED’s body is filled with nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging caused by sudden temperature changes providing a clear vision under any condition. Pentax XF Zoom Eyepiece for Pentax Spotting Scopes The XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm features a focal-length range of 6.5mm to 19.5mm for a magnification of 20 to 60 times with an apparent field of view of 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. It also offers a user-friendly rubber eyepiece ring that never becomes too cold to touch while minimizing the risk of scratching the observer’s eyeglasses.
