The lightweight, aluminum frame features a right-hand-only thumb safety, an extended beavertail safety, a smooth front strap, checkered mainspring housing, and checkered wood grips with Springfield’s crossed cannon logo. The forged carbon steel slide has angled rear cocking serrations with a fiber optic front sight and a white-dot rear sight with racking ledge. Housed by the slide, you’ll find a hammer forged barrel that works with the traditional barrel bushing system.
