It has been freshly shot blasted prior to cutting so it has clean cuts and surface. This is however surplus steel, it may contain some minor visual defects from long term storage. We have tested the steel and found it to be of very good quality.This Target package contains everything but the wood 2×4.12×20 AR500 Surplus 1/2″ Static TargetImproved Static Target Hanger with bolt/spring/nutStatic Target Stand2x4 plate protectors can be added to this package- They will preserve the 2×4 in the area in which the plate is applied. These are laser cut from 3/8″ AR500 and rated up to .308.The static targets are cut to fit a 1/2″ carriage bolt to be mounted to a steel post, 2×4 or other structure. The static targets are designed for centerfire handgun use, though small caliber rifles(up to 223 and 308) may be used as well. These are great targets for clubs, instructors and individuals.Targets are shipped unpainted.Note on Shipping: Shipping is priced to the lower 48. These items ship UPS ground, no PO boxes. All of our stands and hangers are designed to accept 1/2″ hardware (included) which will require you to use power or hand tools to tighten. Wrench/socket size for 1/2” hardware is 3/4″, adjustable wrenches may be used as well. All stands will require two tools (one to hold the nut, one to tighten the bolt), while hangers will only require a single tool as the shoulder of the carriage bolt will lock into place via the cutout on the target.
