With the handguard attaching directly to the upper receiver, not the barrel nut, this receiver allows for a rigid monolithic style platform. The handguard itself is the SP3R, which features a flatter bottom, numerous M-LOK attachment points, and a full length picatinny rail. Other features of the iRMT-3 upper include the exclusive low profile gas block, which allows you to fine-tune your rifle’s gas system for smoother cycling and operation when using different ammunition types or when using a silencer.
