Pulsar’s Axion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Monocular offers nothing but the best in image boosting technology. This exceptionally sensitive, ultra-compact monocular utilizes Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost Technology and software algorithms to provide unmatched image clarity and detail. The Axion XQ38 is effective in nearly all environments with only minimal adjustments; mountains, prairies, forests and urban environments all have different ambient temperatures. To achieve the highest quality images, certain settings have been optimized and assembled into profiles. These profiles accommodate easy image optimization in different environments and at longer distances. The Axion XQ38’s new AMOLED HD display provides a sharp, detailed and vibrantly colored range of vision. The 8-color palette gives an excellent viewing experience regardless of the conditions; the traditional White Hot mode is notably versatile, and the Hot Black is typically used to detect wildlife at night. Red Monochrome will reduce bright back light from exiting the eyepiece. For longer ranges, Sepia often improves observation, while Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine enriches the temperature differences and attributes of various objects. Lastly, Violet is useful in identifying objects faster. In addition to being an exceptional monocular, the XQ38 also features a built in video recorder for filming your outdoor adventures. Pressing the REC button will instantly start capturing footage. Activating the Picture function will display a second, smaller image at the top of the screen allowing easier zoom on the target while retaining the rest of the field of vision. The 16 GB of internal memory can hold hours of video and hundreds of photos. The XQ38 also features built-in WiFi, allowing it to stream with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets; this makes it easier than ever to share and download your content with others. The Axion XQ38 can function in a multitude of changing environmental conditions. Its IPX7 waterproofing is rated to protect it from heavy rainfall, snow and other types of precipitation. The XQ can even operate flawlessly for up to 30 minutes when submerged in up to 1 meter of water.
