AGM’s Taipan V2 Handheld Thermal Monocular series are an excellent compact, mid-level optic for hunting and wildlife observation. Available in multiple lens sizes, the Taipan V2 boasts an industry leading 384 resolution, 12 micro thermal sensor with sub-20mK thermal sensitivity. Compared to the previous Taipan series, the Taipan V2 now features a removable 18650C battery with a run time of up to 6.5 hours. To conserve battery life, the Taipan V2 features a 90° tilt sensor that deactivates the display when the optic is pointed down. Additionally, the Taipan V2 features F1.0 aperture optics, 50Hz refresh rate, 16GB of built-in memory, Wi-Fi compatibility to pair with the AGM Connect App, an IP67 waterproof rating, USB Type-C port for external power capabilities and 4 color palettes.
