Designed to secure up to 2 full-sized handguns or 1 large revolver, the Hornady RAPiD Safe 4800KP Pistol Vault has a keypad that offers a secondary entry method where the user can program a 4 to 6 digit security code in addition to the RFID-enabled access methods. Multiple touch-free access options allow you to open the handgun safe with a RFID bracelet, RFID stickers, RFID key fob, or with a conventional key lock. When activated by the security code or RFID, the spring-assisted lid opens instantly. The RAPiD Safe 4800KP exceeds ASTM International performance standards for youth-resistant firearms containers, and complies with California DOJ required standards for firearm safety, as well as TSA regulations. The exterior of the gun safe is made of 14-gauge steel with 2 internal hardened locking lugs. The lid opens with AC power or battery power (batteries not included) to ensure your handgun is ready to go 24/7. A security cable allows you to fasten the safe down virtually anywhere.
