Rio Top Game HV Shotshells 12 ga 2-3/4″ 1-1/4 oz 1330 fps #8 25/ct

Rio Top Game HV is a 12 gauge, 2-3/4″ high velocity game load that drives 1-1/4 oz of #8 lead shot at up to 1,330 feet per second. That pairing of a heavy payload and fast muzzle velocity is the reason to choose it. Rio builds the Top Game line for consistent performance shell to shell. That same recipe carries across the entire Top Game HV line: 12 gauge, 2-3/4″ length, 3-3/4 dram equivalent, 1-1/4 oz of lead and 1,330 fps. The other shot sizes are sold separately. Rio offers #4 (ROTGHV364), #5 (ROTGHV365), #6 (ROTGHV366), #7.5 (ROTGHV3675) and #8 (ROTGHV368), with #9 also listed in the line. These shells are built for 12 gauge shotguns chambered for 2-3/4″ shells. Check the chamber length stamped on your barrel before you load, and pick a choke that matches the distances you expect to shoot. Pattern a few rounds in your own gun before heading out.
