The Junior is the youth-sized version of one of Barra’s best-selling air rifles – The1866. Designed with youth shooters in mind, the overall length of the air rifle is 5″ shorter than the full-size 1866. It’s the perfect first rifle for your little buddy.The Junior uses a single pump pneumatic power plant. The air tube is completely pressurized with a single pump and reaches a maximum velocity of 350 FPS. Its size, automatic safety, and lower velocity make it a great all-round practice gun for new or young shooters.The Junior is cut from the same cloth as The 1866 with the main difference in materials being that the Junior’s pump arm is made of reinforced nylon resin. The golden receiver is made of a durable ABS plastic and gets its mirror glossy finish through electroplating. The 15″ barrel is made of carbon steel and nestled inside a steel barrel shroud.
