This lineman s belt is built for climbing sticks hanging tree stands and other tree stand setup tasks. It wraps around the tree trunk and connects to a safety harness freeing both hands while climbing up or down. The adjustable strap extends up to 9 feet to fit a range of tree sizes and the buckle allows length adjustment with one hand by pulling the strap back to loosen or forward to tighten. The strap carries a tested breaking strength of 3251 lbs and the attached carabiner is rated to 5600 lbs (25KN). Compared to the -belt style strap included with many tree stands this lineman s belt reduces slipping and operates with less during climbs.
