Describes the back or stock portion of the blade that extends into the handle or actually comprises the handle (called full tang). Included is a Ballistic Nylon Sheath Ballistic nylon is a thick tough synthetic nylon fabric that protects against debris and other foreign materials. It is commonly used for making sheaths. Titanium Bonded is not painted or plated but an application of a unique formulation of titanium and chromium nitride to the surface of cutting blades that actually penetrates and treats the metal to create a permanent bond.
