Crafted from resilient D2 tool steel, both knives feature a non-reflective black powder coat finish. For secure handling, the Leathernecks incorporate a solid steel double quillon guard, preventing fingers from slipping onto the razor-sharp edge. The handles, made from deeply checkered Kray-Ex, envelop the extra-wide, full tang of the Leatherneck, culminating In a machined steel butt cap that can serve as an emergency hammer. For convenient and safe carrying, each blade is accompanied by a durable, military style Secure-Ex sheath, equipped with a fully detachable, ambidextrous belt loop.
