Phat Pak Baits 4″ Skipper Toad has all the qualities required to capture the attention of a hungry bass, along with the practical qualities needed, making it easy to cast long distances, skip under everything, and easy to burn on the surface.We use a soft buoyant plastisol, helping keep the bait running on top of the water, increasing the hookup ratio, but durable enough to last over 5+ fish/toad. In field testing we found a 90% hookup ratio with the hook pinned in the top of the mouth on every fish. At just over 1/2 oz the Skipper Toad can be casted long distances, even on heavier equipment, allowing you to cover tons of water, locating aggressive bass.
