Although it’s a traditionally styled click-pawl fly reel, you’ll find the Classic to be far more rugged than vintage reels. Crafted of cold-forged 6061 T6 aluminum and fully machined, it has a solid, permanent feel in the hand despite its light weight. The 4/5 and 5/6 models feature our adjustable/reversible click pawl system, designed to provide perfect check tension with a minimum of weight. The UL model provides perfect click tension without need for an adjustment. All said, these reels produce an incredibly satisfying sound when confronted with a running fish, and represents some of the best values in fly fishing.
