Abu Garcia Revo X BFS Low Profile Casting Reel | REVO5 X BFS

The Abu Garcia Revo X BFS Low Profile Casting Reel gives bass, trout, and panfish anglers a bait finesse platform that keeps lightweight hard baits, small jigs, and other ultralight presentations under control when accurate short casts matter most. Abu Garcia centers this reel around a super lightweight BFS concept shallow spool design optimized for ultralight techniques, then pairs it with a MagTrax braking system tuned for BFS applications so anglers can manage lighter baits with better control and cleaner spool startup. C6 carbon sideplates cut weight without giving up strength, and the 7.3:1 gear ratio adds quick line pickup for presentations that need fast follow-up casts or immediate control after the lure lands. Inside the reel, 7 stainless steel ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing keep operation smooth, while the Duragear Gen II gear system improves efficiency and long-term gear durability. Abu Garcia also equips the Revo X BFS with a Carbon Matrix drag system for smooth, consistent drag pressure, then finishes it with a 90 mm bowed aluminum handle, oversized co-molded knobs, and added grip comfort that helps during long casting sessions. For anglers looking at BFS casting reels, ultralight baitcasters, and finesse baitcasting setups, this reel brings together low spool mass, controlled braking, and dependable fish-fighting pressure in one compact low profile package. 7 stainless steel ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing for smooth operation C6 carbon sideplates with a super lightweight BFS concept shallow spool design for ultralight casting control MagTrax braking system tuned for ultralight BFS techniques with a 7.3:1 gear ratio Carbon Matrix drag, Duragear Gen II gearing, and a 90 mm bowed aluminum handle with oversized co-molded knobs Manufacturer’s one-year limited warranty
