Springfield Armory 1911 Operator .45 ACP 5″ Threaded Bbl Black Handgun w/ AOS Plate, U-Notch Tritium Sights, 2x8rd Mags PO9240AOS

The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator 5″ AOS .45 ACP delivers a cutting-edge tactical defensive layout built on an uncompromised, full-size Government profile. Engineered as a heavy-duty defensive sidearm, it features a precision-forged carbon steel slide and frame finished in a highly durable, element-resistant Black Cerakote® coating to combat severe environmental wear. Nestled within its robust chassis is a 5-inch match-grade forged stainless steel barrel treated with a nitride layer to achieve maximum downrange accuracy and surface longevity. The structural core of the PO9240AOS configuration is the advanced Agency Optic System (AOS) co-developed alongside Agency Arms. This premium slide-milled footprint employs pin-keyed machined steel adapter plates that house an integrated rear iron sight. This allows today’s most popular micro red dots to sit deeply into the steel for an intuitive sight picture and absolute co-witnessing. Completed with a sharp single-action trigger break, texturized VZ Grips® G10 panels, an ambidextrous safety, and an integrated dustcover accessory rail, it ships fully prepared for duty with two 8-round bumper-padded steel magazines.
