Springfield Armory 1911 Operator .45 ACP 4.25″ Bbl Black Handgun w/ AOS Plate, U-Notch Tritium Sights, 2x8rd Mags PO9228AOS

The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator 4.25″ AOS .45 ACP delivers rugged, duty-grade tactical performance optimized into an everyday-carry profile. Built as a combat-focused Commander-length model, this handgun swaps out full-stroke steel dimensions for a lightweight forged aluminum alloy frame finished in an element-resistant Black Cerakote® to keep unloaded carry weight down to 31 ounces. The layout introduces the advanced Agency Optic System (AOS). Co-developed alongside Agency Arms, this slide-milled interface uses rugged, pin-keyed adapter plates with integrated U-notch rear iron sights to seat your favorite micro red dot deep into the carbon steel slide for a completely natural co-witness. Housing a 4.25-inch match-grade forged stainless steel barrel and a crisp-breaking single-action trigger, the PO9228AOS footprint fields an integrated dustcover Picatinny rail, forward slide serrations, textured VZ Grips® G10 panels, and ships complete with two 8-round bumper-padded steel magazines.
