On the last episode of Deer Hunt, we began our exploration of
hunting technology with the Drury’s new app called DeerCast.
We continue our series on hunting technology this time with the
likes of Tactacam, a company who built what is perhaps the best
deer hunting action camera on the market. We’ve all been
involved with hunts where we wished we had a camera to film it all
but didn’t. And there’s that occasion when we did have a
camera, but the awkwardness of using the camera and taking the shot
at the same time made for terrible footage. There have been
other action cameras on the market, but somehow, this small coming
out of Minnesota has gotten top marks with hunters, probably
because they thought through what the hunter needs most- a camera
that can seemingly just be part of the equipment –
conveniently hidden near the end of a barrel or within the
stabilizer of a bow, and without duct tape, and can be activated
with a push of the button. Tactacam continues to reach new
ground as it constantly attempts to increase the quality of the
video with the likes of Tactacam 5.0, but has never
compromised for those hunters on a budget for example with the
Tactacam Solo. Stay with us as we explore all the aspects of
Tactacam on this show with the like of Aaron Stonehocker.
