USGI style M16A2 Stripped Upper Receiver, ready for a new Retro build Machined from a carry handle forging, this M16A2 Stripped Upper Receiver is compatible with standard AR-15 components, such as barrels and bolt carrier groups. Check out the Brownells upper receiver completion kit (430108375) for the parts needed to assemble the receiver. Forged received has a matte black anodized finish, just like later production A2 rifles. Like the M16A2, this receiver does not have M4 feedramps. However, it is still compatible with barrels with and without M4 feedramps. Carry handle will accept standard attachments, such as ACOGs and Brownells Retro 4x Scopes.
