The fluted sporter contour barrels are optimized for increased bullet velocities, with lengths extended by 2 inches up to 26 inches. The muzzle accommodates larger 5/8-24 Suppressor-ready threading, complemented by a radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap. An optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake offers additional recoil reduction. The rifle’s action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated to ensure consistent accuracy, making it ideal for hunting and long-range shooting practice. Whether you’re a hunter or a competitive shooter seeking enhanced magazine capacity, the Speed LR incorporates the new Plus Magazine system. This proprietary single-stack design holds 5 or 6-rounds depending on the cartridge, retaining the bullet protection features of the X-Bolt rotary magazine.
