The Taurus 692 delivers unmatched versatility and excels at personal/home defense applications, as well as target shooting. One of the Taurus 692’s more notable features is its ability to change the caliber by simply swapping out the cylinders. It ships with a .357 Magnum/.38 Special cylinder, as well as a 9mm cylinder. This allows the user to use the more cost-effective cartridge while practicing at the range, and using the more powerful cartridge for home/personal defense. Other features of the Taurus 692 includes a 3″ barrel with a sizable under-lug to promote greater balance and accuracy. The barrel also features 4 integrated ports on either side of the muzzle to redirect expanding gasses upwards for reduced recoil and faster follow up shots. In addition, the Taurus 692 utilizes ergonomics black rubber grips, and features a fully adjustable rear sight.
