It can be used as a handheld detection device, or it can be used as a weapon mounted scope. It can detect a human at 1500 yds and a vehicle at 2800yds. The 35mm objective lens provides a 3.5x base magnification and 2-8 digital zoom. The resolution of the LCD screen is 1280×720 and make target acquisition extremely easy. The Sphinx features 6 individual reticle styles, 4 reticle colors and 3 individual scene modes and 7 thermal image options to allow the user to customize settings based on individual preferences and surroundings. Users can capture 2592×1944 .JPG images and 1280×720 .mp4 video that can be saved on the 128GB removable micro SD card. The laser range finder (LRF) is sensitive out to 1200 yds.
