This Complete REC7 Gen II Upper Receiver from Barrett comes with everything thing you’ll need from an upper for your next LEGAL SBR build or AR pistol build. This upper is chambered for the 6.8 Special Purpose Cartridge (SPC), a cartridge designed to be more effective than the 5.56 NATO in short to carbine length barrels. The 9.25″ barrel is chrome-lined to ensure reliability, accuracy, and longevity even when operated under sustained rapid fire. The barrel is capped with a three pronged flash hider to mitigate the increased muzzle flash caused by the shorter barrel. The Barret REC7 Gen II 6.8 SPC Short Barrel Upper Receiver has KeyMod attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and has a full length Picatinny rail with backup sights on the top. The upper receiver utilizes a gas piston operating system for increased reliability and cleaner shooting.
