The Spike’s Tactical M4 Carbine AR-15 16″ CMV 5.56 Upper Receiver w/ BAR2 9″ Picatinny Handguard 16″ AR-15 upper assembly is built for reliable performance using proven, Mil-Spec components and quality materials. Featuring a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with a forward assist and ejection port cover, this upper is paired with a chrome-lined, MIL-B-11595E CMV steel barrel in a classic M4 profile. The 5.56 NATO chamber and 1:7 twist easily handle a wide range of loads, bullet styles, and grain weights, while the M4 feed ramps and phosphate coating ensure long-lasting durability and smooth, jam-free operation. The BAR2 9″ Picatinny Handguard features a full-length flat-top rail, as well as Mil-Spec Picatinny rails at the 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock positions, offering ample attachment space for optics, foregrips, laser sights, WML mounts, and other rail-mounted tactical accessories. Integrated QD sling mounts facilitate a custom setup with rapid attachment and removal of your favorite rifle sling system. The upper is finished with a phosphate-coated M16 bolt carrier group that’s HPT/MPI tested for quality assurance and laser-engraved with the Spikes Tactical Spider logo. Other features of this factory-assembled upper receiver group include a forged aluminum charging handle with a Mil-Spec Type 3 coating, an A2 flash hider and crush washer, and a carbine-length gas system.
