This 1 pound single binary target is properly formulated using only the highest quality explosives-grade Ammonium Nitrate (target) and pyrotechnic-grade Aluminum powder (catalyst). These targest to NOT start fires – the detonation is initiated by the impact of centerfire rifle bullets weighing at least 40 grain, with a velocity of at least 2000 fps into the target container of mixed composition (target and catalyst). The target and catalyst components are packaged individually, and are for legal use as SHOT INDICATORS ONLY & away from populated areas. Item includes one mixing container, target container, and catalyst packet(s).
