This jacket has a traditional, horizontal baffle design, durable, abrasion-resistant, matte-finish shell material, and a drawcord adjustable waist. It works equally well as an outer layer as it does a mid-weight, insulated layering garment. Synthetic down is ultralight, has uniform loft throughout the garment, and won’t mat down like natural goose down. The average weight is just 13.2 ounces (size Large). When packed, it measures 10″ W x 8″ H x 5″ D and can be compressed even smaller. The stuff pocket has a carabiner loop for clipping the jacket to a backpack.
